Theme: Roads

You can drive on the roads in Iceland for hours without ever seeing another car or person. They can change dramatically from a well paved highway to a gravel roads riddled with pot holes. They weave up and down mountain cliffs without any guardrails as protection. They help slice up and define the intense vastness of the country, but most of all they connect one isolated village to another.
