I lived in Iceland briefly back in 1980-81. I was planning return trip to next year to celebrate my birthday. Came across your site - was rather amazing to me as it's exactly what i had planned to do (along with my youngest sister). Interesting parallels. 1st thing i had planned to do was have pilsna (sp?) dog as i loved them. Going in Sept (just like you). Going for my big 50 (really laughed when you met the American lady and was amazed that a 50 yr old was doing this alone, HA!).Biggest difference for us will be less canned beans. Really enjoyed your movie the photography is amazing - just as i remember it 30 years ago. Great site - love it! thanks.

Love the site! I saw your video on current tv, and it was just what I needed. My wife and I honeymooned in Iceland and we were able to relive a small bit of our great times there.

BTW, you can by skyr in Whole Foods. Yum!

Cool footage. I love the whole how you guys made the trip to be about exploring the landscape, not partying and drinking. Although, that can be cool too.
